Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (stock code: APLN) has begun to push for the sale of high-rise properties across cities and regions in Indonesia following the lifting of community activity restrictions (PPKM) this year.

Assistant Vice President Marketing of Agung Podomoro, Yenti Lokat, stated in Jakarta on Monday that they are providing high-rise properties in several major cities to meet the needs of productive communities for residential, commercial, and office spaces.

She mentioned various projects, including Podomoro City Deli Medan, Borneo Bay City, The Sky Apartment, and Podomoro Golf View.

According to her, the investment opportunities in high-rise properties are extensive due to the growth in demand and prices for apartments, as well as the ease of payment provided by the developer.

"The decision of investors to purchase Agung Podomoro's property products is very appropriate due to several factors, including high returns, super strategic locations, integrated premium facilities, and a solid developer track record," said Yenti.

In the same occasion, Marketing Director of Agung Podomoro, Agung Wirajaya, projected that the high-rise property trend will experience an increase, in line with the high market interest in the demand for apartments and office spaces.

"We are grateful that amidst this dynamic situation, the demand for Agung Podomoro's products, especially vertical residences and office spaces, remains quite high," said Agung.

With positive economic stimulus, he further mentioned that the demand for properties in Indonesia has been continuously increasing in the past two years, as indicated by the data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) showing 5.3 percent economic growth throughout 2022.

Furthermore, last year, the property demand index increased by 16.4 percent year on year (yoy), and the McKinsey Global Institute projected that Indonesia will become the world's seventh-largest economy by 2030.

"Considering this situation, the apartment and office segments will continue to be prioritized investments to support the activities and increasing consumer mobility in the future," Agung added.

Bank Indonesia reported that since 2022, the apartment price index has started to grow positively, ending the negative growth trend since 2018. This growth is supported by a positive demand index since the end of 2021.
